My best friends are getting married next weekend, and CM and I drove down to stay with them all week, pre-event. The thing is, they both are pretty high carb, and the groom is vegan. So, the food that is in the house is all pretty carb-intensive.
What to do? Come prepared! CM and I packed a plastic tote full of snacks for those occasions where no good options were available.
We brought all the essentials:
- Sunbutter (I’m obsessed)
- Real Sticks
- Seaweed Snacks
- Quest Bars
Plus, some nuts and assorted salad greens and cheese to toss in their fridge. Of course, we’re not going to be ungrateful guests and turn down what they make for dinner, but it’s always good to have a back stock of keto-friendly foods when you’re traveling!
