Hi, guys! This post is going to deviate a bit from the typical format, because I want to give an update on what projects I’m currently working on. Because I’m a one-woman show and do everything involved with running MeatFreeKeto.com (and this site), from website maintenance to customer service to social media and actually creating recipes/writing posts/taking photos (plus, making more meal plans and recipe books on occasion), it can sometimes take a while for a project to come into fruition. So, I thought it might be nice to let you all in on what’s been going on behind the scenes.
Meat Free Keto Videos?
A few of you have been asking if I could start making recipe and “what I eat in a day” videos. This is something that’s been on my radar for a while, but will probably be a summer project. I’ve never made videos, so it’ll take a bit of time and practice to actually put something together! I promise this is something I’m working on, though!
Healthy Gamer Girl Podcast
I haven’t given up on this! I’ve been working on a new format – interviewing fellow vegan ketoers or vegan gamers just to get a glimpse of their daily lives and healthy eating/living routines. 🙂
Vegan Keto Meal Plans
It’s been six months since I’ve introduced a new meal plan, but I promise there are some new ones on the way! I listened to your requests and have a few coming up down the pipeline with totally new recipes and for some different dietary needs. So, look forward to some more meal plan variety in the near future!
It takes a while to make a meal plan, because not only do I have to come up with the recipes from scratch (I want to give value by having totally different recipes than what are in the other plans/my book/the site), but then I have to put them together in a way that meets macro and micronutrient needs, while also being reasonable and not overly expensive. Then, there’s testing the plan to make sure it’s actually do-able in a real-world setting (thank you, testers!) and then finally, I format everything and publish it.
Vegan Keto Recipe Books
I don’t have another print book in the works yet (it’s been less than six months!), but I do have an ebook I’ve been working on with a bunch of new recipes. I’m really excited about it and can’t wait to share it with everyone! These recipes are separate from the ones going into the meal plans. So, even more recipes to choose from!
Blog Posts & Recipes
As usual, I’m working on new recipes with the goal to post at least one per week. I’m also going through old recipes and re-taking some pictures (there are some doozies) while also clarifying instructions and adding weights to the ingredients lists. So, it’s been busy, and I’ve been eating a lot…
Yoga & Books
Silly, but I made some New Year’s resolutions and have actually been keeping up with them. One was to do yoga every day, even if it’s just a short, restorative practice and another was to read at least one book a week (on average). Both were in response to my life last year, where I basically didn’t read anything and didn’t really work out the entire time I was writing my book. Whoops. So, I’m kind of excited that I’ve gotten back to these activities, because I really enjoy them!
